I must tell you right away - I am new to this world of blogging. There are several blogs that I peek in on everyday, and I am in awe at the creativity I see. My good friend, Amy, thought I should "get with the program", and so here I am. I shall ask for everyone's patience, as technology is not my strongest trait. :)
One of my favorite things to do, is Altered Art. My sister, Missy, got me into that several years ago. Together we started our website - DreamsAltered.com. (with Missy doing all of the computer work, of course). As sometimes happens, time and circumstance caused us both to become sidetracked from our creativity. Now, being in the midst of divorce after 26 years of marriage, I find that I need that outlet more than ever.
SO, thanks to dear Amy, here I am. She played a huge part in returning me to my bliss, when she allowed me to display Missy's and my Altered Art creations in her store. BLESS YOU, AMY, for being such a supportive friend, who believes in me even when I do not!!!!
Moral of the story - here I am. I am hoping to make technology my friend, at the age of 56. Never too old to learn? We shall see!!
